Playing with the Clay Again!

My muse has finally returned after a long vacation! I have been playing with the clay again! I've been trying to achieve a sort of painterly effect with my designs. These are a few of the designs I've come up with so far...

The above beads are dimensional. They have raised elements.

I want to give a huge thank you to Heather of Humblebeads for her kind and encouraging words. You really gave me the push (or the boot, ha) that I needed, Heather! Thank you so much!!

Also, I thank all of you who have left messages for me! I appreciate them so much. I wish there was a way to answer you all individually. There are so many wonderful people out there who follow my blog. Thank you all for thinking of me!

I am blown away by these beautiful beads. Your blog is timely and encouraging. I have wanted to experiment with clay for sometime now. I just made the plunge into a book, pasta machine, a few basic tools and kato clay. I hope I can be as good as you some day. Any words of wisdom for a beginner?
